Types of Ceccato Air Compressors and Different Applications :
     

  • When you consider a Ceccato Air Compressor, you must be thinking of a compressor that compresses air and pushes it through a tiny opening so as to develop lots of pressure used for running power tools.   • There are two methods of compressing air – Positive Displacement and Dynamic Air Displacement. There are two types of Positive Displacement aircompressors. They are the Reciprocating compressor and the Rotary compressor. While the Reciprocating ceccato compressor is single or double acting or using a diaphragm, the Rotary Compressor is going to be a liquid ring, lobe, scroll, vane or a screw compressor. And, the Dynamic Air Compressors are available in two major types – the Centrifugal air compressor and the Axial Air Compressor .

  • The first type of  Ceccato Air Compressors is the Reciprocating Air Compressors. They are basically piston compressors that use pistons run by a crankshaft. They are available in a wide range of sizes, small, large, portable and even industrial air compressor. While some have electricity as their power source, others are run on internal combustion engine .

  • The Rotary Vane air compressor is run on a rotator and several blades fitted as radial slots inside the rotor. While the rotor turns, the blades slide in and out of the slots and this movement helps in creating a constantly reducing volume .

  • Then there is the Ceccato Rotary Screw Compressor where screws are used in order to force gas into a very small space. Based upon the industrial purpose, these ceccato compressorscan be either large or compact. The tightness of the threads of the screws will determine the compression level. These compressors are smooth and less vibrating as compared to other types of aircompressors .

  • With regard to the different types of ceccato compressors, two major types of pumps are used – oil lubed and oil-free. The oil lubed pump is long-lasting due to lesser amount of wear as compared to the Oil free compressors. They are available in different sizes and they are ideal for use in home .

  • On the other end, Oil free compressors are more sophisticated and can be a little costlier. Even though these ceccato compressors are a little louder, the delivered air is of better quality. They are also ideal for usage in home and are considered the ideal Ceccato Air Compressor because they require less maintenance and can start faster in cold weather .
